4: Check the Employer Before You Apply
Finding a job advertisement is only the first step.
Before sending your documents, take a few minutes to research the employer.
Check:
1. Does the company have an official website?
2. Does the company have a real Canadian address?
3. Is the job listed on a trusted platform?
4. Does the employer use a professional company email?
5. Does the job description look realistic?
6. Are the salary and duties clearly explained?
Do know that a genuine job opportunity should not require you to pay an employer to hire you.
