If you are applying internationally, don’t send hundreds of random applications.
Instead:
1. Identify your occupation.
Know exactly what type of job you are qualified for.
2. Research Texas employers.
You have to focus on companies actually hiring for your profession.
3. Check sponsorship policies.
Look for language such as “visa sponsorship available” or “will sponsor qualified candidates.”
4. Prepare a strong résumé.
Highlight your qualifications, experience, certifications and measurable achievements.
5. Answer work-authorization questions honestly.
Don’t claim that you are authorized to work in the U.S. if you aren’t.
6. Apply through official channels.
Whenever possible, apply directly through the employer’s website.
