4: Be Honest About Who Is Paying for Your Trip
It is Not everyone pays for an international trip entirely from their personal savings.
Perhaps a spouse is paying.
Or parent is supporting the trip.
Perhaps another person will genuinely cover part of your travel expenses.
If that is your real situation, then do not pretend that you are personally paying for everything.
The official visitor visa guidance states that applicants who cannot cover all travel costs may show evidence that another person will cover some or all of the costs.
However, financial support from someone else does not automatically guarantee visa approval.
The applicant still needs to qualify for the visa based on their individual circumstances, including their ties outside the United States. �
