5: Don’t Confuse an Invitation Letter With Visa Approval
Many applicants believe that having a family member or friend in the United States automatically solves everything.
Unfortunately, it does not.

So, if someone invites you to the United States, make sure your own application still makes sense.
Be prepared to clearly explain:
* Why you are visiting
* How long you intend to stay
* What you plan to do during your visit
* Why you will return home afterwards
Your story should be simple, truthful, and consistent.
