4. Make Your Personal Statement Personal
This is one area where you should not sound like everybody else.
Don’t simply write:
“Canada has always been my dream.”
Tell your story.
1. What made you choose this field?
2. What have you accomplished so far?
3. What problem do you want to solve?
4. Why does this particular program matter to you?
And most importantly:
5. What do you plan to do with the opportunity?
Your grades matter.
But your story, goals and evidence of what you have already done can help make your application more memorable.
5. Apply Before the Deadline
Once everything is ready, submit your application carefully.
Before clicking Submit, check everything again.
* Your name.
* Your documents.
* Your personal statement.
* Your recommendation letters.
* Your email address.
* And especially the deadline.
Don’t leave it until the final few hours.
