This one is particularly interesting if your interests are around public policy, governance, international relations, development or public administration.
The Helmut-Schmidt Programme is designed for graduates from developing and emerging countries who want to develop skills that can contribute to the social and economic development of their home countries.
It supports selected master’s programmes in Germany, with courses taught in English.
It is a strong option for students who see their degree as more than simply getting another certificate.
3. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master
You may have heard of Erasmus Mundus before.
Although it is a European programme rather than a Germany-only scholarship, some Erasmus Mundus master’s programmes include German universities in their consortium.
The scholarship can cover tuition fees, living support and travel costs, and students normally study at more than one university during the programme.
So if you are flexible about studying in more than one European country, don’t limit your search to scholarships carrying the word “Germany.”
