Introduction

If you are a student from Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia or another West African country, you have probably asked yourself this question at some point:

“Can my WAEC result actually get me into a Canadian college, and can I get a scholarship with it?”

If you have, It’s a reasonable question.

You have worked hard for your WAEC result, and you need to feel that it can get you enrolled into a Canadian college.Not just that but under Canadian scholarships.

But when you start looking at Canadian schools, the process can feel confusing. Different schools have different admission requirements, scholarship rules and definitions of what they consider an equivalent qualification.

And there’s another important reality:

Finding a Canadian college that accepts your qualification does not automatically mean you will receive a scholarship.

You have to approach the process strategically.
