Don’t assume you will win a scholarship before you have actually received the award.
Before accepting admission, understand your complete financial responsibility.
Consider:
* Tuition
* Accommodation
* Food
* Transportation
* Health insurance
* Study materials
* Visa/study-permit related costs
* Flight expenses
* Emergency funds
And remember that international students may have to demonstrate that they have enough money to support themselves in Canada, depending on the applicable immigration requirements.
A scholarship can reduce your financial burden, but it shouldn’t be the only thing keeping your study plan alive.
