No fixed amount applies to every B1/B2 applicant.
You should think about it this way;
Someone planning a five-day trip and staying with a relative doesn’t necessarily have the same expenses as someone planning a three-week hotel stay, domestic flights and expensive activities.
So instead of asking:
“How much money must I have?”
A better question is:
“Can I reasonably demonstrate that I can afford the trip I’m describing?”
So, Your finances should make sense alongside your travel plans.
